I came, I saw, I spoke at Agile 2010
This was my second time attending the Agile conference, and it was a blast. But this year had a twist; I was one of the presenters. Here is the description for my talk (titled: Mountains to Molehills: A Story of QA):
Dave Haeffner had just changed jobs within his company. Completely shifting his career paradigm from Systems Administration to Quality Assurance. If only he knew the challenges that faced him in the year ahead. He might get excited, or maybe, he would have thought twice.
There was very little he knew about his new role but that didn’t worry him. The mountainous challenges that faced QA is what kept him up at night.Join him as he retraces his steps, sharing lessons learned, how he helped change QA from the bottom up, and how he turned those mountainous challenges into molehills.
The slides from my presentation are available on SlideShare (and embedded below). I had to take the notes from within PowerPoint and make them into slides themselves. My apologies for the verbosity of the deck. But it makes for a nice kind of silent film.
